Making Cool Shit Since 1983(ish)

Born and raised in Atlanta, Georgia, Ryan Carden has spent his life at the intersection of creativity, technology, and determination. A 2006 graduate of the University of Tennessee with a B.S. in Business Administration, Ryan’s path was anything but linear — starting in architecture, he fast-tracked his studies to graduate on time, a reflection of his persistence and drive. While at UT, he produced a local music radio show, cultivating a lifelong passion for community, media, and storytelling.

Ryan’s professional journey spans over a decade of innovation in software, infrastructure, and automation. From modernizing legacy systems and designing serverless analytics pipelines to building AI-powered customer service agents and orchestrating microservices, he consistently blends deep technical expertise with business strategy. His hands-on skills with hardware—experimenting with Arduinos, Raspberry Pis, and 3D printing—give him a rare ability to bridge physical and digital systems, a strength increasingly vital in the AI and robotics space.

Through his travels across more than 25 countries, Ryan has developed a globally informed, adaptable mindset. His creative thinking and grounded demeanor have earned the trust of people from all walks of life—including multimillion-dollar rockstars and award-winning physicists—making him as comfortable in a server room as he is in a recording studio or research lab.

Outside of work, Ryan raced professionally in AMA Pro Flat Track, traveling the country as #41c, and is a multi-instrumentalist performing in several local bands. He lives in East Atlanta Village with his white German Shepherd, Rossi, who’s never far from his side. With a foundation of grit, systems thinking, and relentless curiosity, Ryan brings a creative edge and human-centered vision to every AI project he touches.
